# Bring support into your Discord community

Make the support system available where your members already ask questions, with the permissions needed for the workflow you chose.

## Choose the right server and owner

Connect the server that belongs to the program or organization being supported. Confirm who controls the Discord application and who can approve its configuration.

## Match permissions to the job

Use the supported invitation and setup flow. Confirm access to the chosen support area and the actions you intend to enable. A bot being present in a server does not prove it can read every record or change every role.

## Make the support entry point easy to find

Place the official help link or panel beside onboarding and program information. Explain what people can ask, how private account questions are handled, and how to reach a person.

## Test before announcing the rollout

Try a knowledge question, a private access request, and a human handoff. Keep Telegram and website deployment separate until the relevant channel connection is confirmed.

Illustrative support workflow

### “A new cohort is joining the server this week.”

Check the member-facing support entry point, access to the cohort’s resources, and the team responsible for unresolved onboarding requests before inviting the whole cohort to use it.
